LITTLE DISCOVERIES · NOT A HEALTH SCORE

Things we practiced

A note for grown-ups

We use curiosity, choices, variety and listening to fullness—not weight, calories, body changes, “bad foods,” or pressure to finish. Milo's pretend tasting/fullness animation is a story, not a measure of nutritional health or an instruction about how much your child should eat. A varied pattern over time matters, not one food or one meal.

For real meals, an adult chooses what and when to offer; your child chooses whether and how much to eat. Looking, smelling and helping prepare food can be useful exposure. There is no obligation to taste. Play this away from meals, then explore real foods together without screens.

Foods shown are identification pictures, not safe serving shapes. Adults must adapt texture/size to the child's skills, supervise seated eating, and account for allergies and individual needs. Milk, egg, soy and wheat may appear. This game is not an allergy checker; ask your pediatrician about feeding concerns.
